Get to Know SQ

Name: Azzaya Munkhbat

Position: SQ Features Design Editor

Major: Cognitive Science, Specialization in Design and Interaction

Year: Junior

Why I joined SQ: SQ was the perfect way for me to work closely with research in an inclusive, collaborative environment while being able to build and improve my design skills. As a transfer student, all of the clubs and organizations on campus were overwhelming to me at first but I am glad to now be part of SQ as a Layout Designer and am excited for the year!

Fun fact about you:I love love neuroscience and any topic relating to the brain and its mechanisms. As a Cognitive Science major, I enjoy learning about the functions of the brain and its applications to my areas of interest, design and technology. Outside of academics, I love watching movies and tv shows, organizing my life, and planning future trips. I also love being active outdoors, which include playing tennis and hiking.

Favorite SQ project you've worked on:I have not worked on a SQ project yet (new to SQ) but I am looking forward to designing the SQ Features Section and working on the Winter and Spring Insiders!
